AI Automation for Salons, Spas & Med Spas — MAGNITUDE STUDIO, LOS ANGELES
AI Automation for Salons, Spas & Med Spas
The phone rings while both hands are in a client’s hair. The DM lands at ten at night, the cancellation lands at eight in the morning, and either way the chair sits empty. We design and code the systems that answer, book, and backfill while your team stays on the floor.
Where a salon, spa, or med spa loses bookings
None of this is a staffing problem. It is the arithmetic of a business where the people who could answer are already busy with the people in front of them.
The phone rings mid-service
A stylist with foils in her hands and a therapist mid-massage cannot pick up. Most callers who reach voicemail do not leave one — they dial the next salon on the list.
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows
A 2pm color that cancels at 1pm is an hour of paid labor with nothing against it. Without a fast way to reach the right waiting client, that time never gets sold.
DMs sitting unanswered
Instagram is the front door in this trade. A “how much for a full set?” that arrives at 9pm and gets read the next afternoon is usually someone who already booked elsewhere.
Nobody rebooks at checkout
Checkout is rushed and the next client is waiting, so the pre-book conversation gets skipped. A client on a six-week cycle who walks out without a date on the calendar is a client who drifts.
High-ticket consults go cold
Someone asks about extensions, a lash set, a treatment package, and gets exactly one reply. The bigger the ticket, the more follow-up it takes — and follow-up is the first thing a busy desk drops.
Why this gets built, not bought
Booking software runs your calendar. It will not chase a DM, work a waitlist at 8am, or restart a consultation that stalled three weeks ago. We build the layer that sits on top of the tools you already pay for, so the front desk stops being the bottleneck. It is written in-house by the same team behind our AI automation work — 30+ agencies automated, plus four of our own products live on the market. Nothing here is someone else’s software with our logo on it.
Built around your service menu
A balayage, a 90-minute facial, and an injectables consult are three different bookings with three different rules. The system is built to your menu, your timing, and your providers.
Your voice, your standards
Every message reads the way your front desk talks, with your pricing language and your policies. Anything off-script — a complaint, a clinical question, a VIP — goes to a person with the full thread attached.
One team, whole build
The people who design the flow write the code that runs it. Booking platform, phone, Instagram, and payments get wired together by one team that owns the result.
What gets built
AI front desk and self-service booking
Calls and site chat get answered around the clock — hours, service questions, price ranges, parking, and a real appointment on the calendar. Anything clinical or sensitive routes to licensed staff instead of being answered.
Missed-call text-back
The moment a call goes unanswered, a text goes out with a booking link and an offer to answer questions. The caller is handled before they reach the next salon in the search results.
Instagram and Facebook DM hand-off
Common questions get an instant reply and a link to book. Consultation requests for extensions, lash sets, or treatment packages start a follow-up sequence that runs until they book or say no.
Deposit-backed confirmations and reminders
Long or high-value appointments take a deposit at booking, then run a confirmation and reminder sequence up to the day. Clients who need to move get a reschedule link instead of disappearing.
Waitlist backfill
When a slot opens, the system texts the clients who actually fit it — right service, right provider, right window — and the appointment goes to whoever confirms first.
Rebooking, reviews, and win-back
Each client gets a rebooking prompt on their own cycle, a review request timed to the appointment, and a win-back message once they slip past their usual interval. Retail and package refills ride the same schedule.
An empty chair and an unread DM cost the same thing — the appointment somebody else booked.
Book a consultation ↗How it gets built
Consultation
We walk your client journey out loud — how a call comes in, who answers the DMs, what happens at checkout, what happens when a 3pm cancels. About an hour, and you leave knowing where the leaks are.
Map and scope
You get the flows written down: what the system handles, what always reaches a person, and what every message says. A flat project fee is agreed before anything is built.
Build and connect
We build the automations and wire them into your booking platform, phone number, Instagram, payments, and email. Your calendar stays the single source of truth.
Test on real appointments
We run it against your live schedule with your team watching — booking, cancelling, waitlisting, rescheduling — and fix the wording and the edge cases before a client ever sees it.
Launch and tune
It goes live and we watch what actually happens: what gets asked, what gets booked, what gets handed off. Simple flows go live in days; a full system is scoped on the call.
The software your salon already runs on
We connect to what you use — the calendar, the POS, the phone, the inbox. If your booking platform exposes an API, availability and bookings stay in sync; where it doesn’t, we build the bridge around it.

What we have actually built
We have never run a salon, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we have done is design and code booking systems end to end: DRIVIFY is a live mobile app where customers book services, providers manage their own availability, and the backend keeps both sides in sync — the same shape of problem as a chair, a room, and a calendar that has to stay full. PRELLEX, our AI co-pilot for solo and small-firm attorneys, handles records, billing, and case files — another field where what a system is allowed to touch matters as much as what it can do. Four products live, every one designed and coded in-house — the rest are in the portfolio.
Questions salon and spa owners ask
Will clients be able to tell it is not my front desk?
We already run on Vagaro. Do we have to switch platforms?
We are a med spa. Some of what we do is medically supervised.
Does this replace my front desk?
What does it cost, and how fast can it be running?
Fill the chair, then keep it filled
Magnitude is how scientists measure what gets felt. So do we.
Bring your calendar, your booking platform, and the questions your team answers over and over. We will map where the bookings are leaking and tell you plainly what is worth automating first — and what is not worth touching.
